Use this guide to navigate the dark lands of Endalor efficiently and uncover every hidden secret.

World of Endalor — Overview

The world of Endalor is a hand-built, non-procedurally generated open world. Every location is deliberately placed by the development team at Diorite Games, meaning the world rewards careful exploration and revisiting known areas as your character progresses. The geography of Endalor spans from open plains and forested highlands down through mountain passes and into deep underground labyrinths filled with ancient dungeons, abandoned castles, and cavern systems.

In the current Early Access build (March 2026), the first of four planned regions is available. This region contains three distinct zones: the Starting Plains (tutorial-adjacent grassland area), the Ancient Ruins zone (ruins, cemeteries, undead enemies), and the Rocky Highlands (rocky terrain, caves, Golem enemies, Lizard faction territory). Underground areas connect all three zones via cavern networks and can be accessed through cave entrances scattered across the surface.

The full world of Endalor as planned by the developers will span four regions, each larger and more dangerous than the last, with the underground depths becoming increasingly hostile and rewarding the deeper you descend. Future regions are expected to introduce new enemy factions, biomes, unique crafting materials, and story content.
